Target Newspapers Challenge Cup
There were no great cup upsets in The Challenge Cup although there were some heroic performances from Third Division sides, FC Hammers and Pointon 'A' who both narrowly went down 3-2 away at Division One pace-setters, Friskney and Boston College. Second Division Railway Athletic caused a minor upset at Old Doningtonians by coming back from 2-0 down to squeeze through 3-2.
In The Premier Division it's looking increasingly like developing into a two-horse race after Spilsby Town won 3-0 at Pointon and Wyberton Reserves won 4-1 at Swineshead Institute.
